COME BACK SOON!!

It was 12:35 in my schools parish. I had moved very slowly to the front row. It was my turn. I nervously walked up to the podium. I felt like I was going to faint. The Narrator Rebecca Lara had just finished and I knew it was time.
“Class we will be reading stations this Friday in front of the entire school. You will all have to practice at school and at home. I will be assigning each of you a part by noon.” said my teacher Mrs.Martinez.

“Do we have to read our stations this Friday.” I asked very anxiously.

“Yes, you will each have to read a station,” she said.

I was always scared of public speaking for some weird reason. Every assembly I spoke for I would always mess up. I made a promise to not mess up during this assembly. I knew I couldn’t keep this but I tried to guarantee. When I got in to class I was placed as the last reader. Sometimes people say the best is saved for last but in this case this saying won’t be a very bad idea to say.

When I got home I told my mom that I was going to be in the next assembly.

She had said in a sarcastic voice, “You will do great.”

I then said, “Thanks for your support, Mom!”

I knew she meant to say I would do horrible and I knew I was but I still tried to improve my reading.
